Whilst working on the seven different units over the past year I have learned a lot about game design. I have learned the importance of time management which I will be taking into my next project by getting my pre-production finished within 1 week or less to give me more time to work on my game, since I have some knowledge of programming languages like ‘c++’ I will be using that instead of blueprint to save time, finally since I have noticed I have a slight advantage in designing and solving game bugs quickly I won’t have to schedule to much time for that.

section 2: project concept
In my final project for the year I’m going to be making a
battle royal game which is a game that has a blend of survival, exploration and
scavenging with a last man standing game-play added to it. For this project I am
going to make it an offline game where the player faces against large number of
individual bots which would be programmed to kill each other and the player and
the goal of the player is to be the “Last man standing” however to make my game
different from most battle royal games I am going to add a darker element to it
with heavy fog and limited sight for the player (which is taking elements from
my first game), I’m also going to borrow heavily from the hunger games books
and movies where the player alongside with the bots start in the middle where
there is a countdown timer and when it gets to zero they are released from the
pods and have to run into the forest to find weapons and health packs. Finally there
will be an element to the game where certain parts of the level will be
unplayable for anyone for a short amount of time.
Finally to make this I am going to use the Agro system which
I’ve been developing to making the bots Agro against themselves and the player
heavily, I am also going to use discord or google to help with AI interface to
make them smarter thirdly I am going to use some programming languages from
existing battle royal games to add necessary elements from them to my game and
finally I need to have part of the demo finished within the first two weeks in
order to make all of this work.

to evaluate my work i'm going to use Facebook discord and survey monkey to get feed back on my work including my blogger to get the best possible grade i can get.
